Autocue / Prompting

You provide the script or speech, tell us where and when, and leave the rest to us.

Of course not only 'live' shows use autocuing services. We can save you a lot of time during a day's recording - and then some more time in the edit suite. Whilst helping all concerned to do a truly professional day's work.

The main advantages of using autocue:

• The speaker remains in total control of exactly what he or she wants to say, and any deviation from the message is avoided. With intense media coverage and the internet these days any slight slip will be ‘out there’ in seconds and may not be retrievable.

• The speakers head stays ‘up’ allowing better voice projection but, even more importantly, maintaining eye contact with an audience. It is an accepted fact in human communication that anyone who avoids eye contact gives the appearance of being less trustworthy.

• Everyone in the production crew is also aware of exactly what will be said, when it will be said and in what order. This allows for accurate cueing of any speaker support material or effects.

• The duration, or runtime, of the presentation is known.

• In summary, using a prompting system means that a presentation is controlled live exactly as it was planned in advance, and the message it was designed to deliver will not be left to chance.
